We aim to offer as much career support as possible, to both our current students and our alumni, which is why we've created the Clare Business Contacts scheme. There are several ways you can get involved:

1. Become a Mentor

If you're well-established in your career and feel that you'd like to support Clare members who might be starting out in your field, you could sign up to become a mentor. Initially, all this means is that you've put your hand up to offer your expertise and advice, should a Clare student or graduate request it.

When someone requests a mentor in your field, we'll contact you to ask if you're willing and able to help. You're not under any obligation however, so don't worry if you're too busy. To sign up as a mentor please email our Deputy Development Director, Samuel Venn.

2. Register for support

Whether you're a current student, a recent graduate, or an alumnus considering a career change, Clare Business Contacts is here to help you move your career forward. We can link you with a mentor who will be happy to offer you ongoing support and advice, or just to answer your initial questions about your chosen field. To sign up please email our Deputy Development Director, Samuel Venn.

3. Use the Clare Alumni Job Board

Our Job Board is a great new feature, where you can search for future career opportunities, or advertise available jobs at your organisation directly to the Clare community. Opportunities posted on the Job Board are open to all members of the Clare community, including current students and recent graduates, unless otherwise stated.

4. Connect with us on LinkedIn

We host a dedicated group for our alumni on LinkedIn - a great place to make connections and network with other Clare members all over the world. All membership requests are verified by the Development Office team, to ensure that all members of the group belong to the Clare community. If you would like to join, please click here.
